1. People questioned whether China would be able to overtake US in the medals race. As of now, China have 35 Golds to US’ 19. And of those 19, 8 are from a single person 🙂
2. Two out of 3 contenders for fastest man on earth were Jamaicans with one of them winning the dash with considerable ease in record time. And as if that wasn’t enough, the women did one better by grabbing all the top 3 medals for Jamaica. And we knew them just as the home ground of Walsh, Holding and Frank Worrel.
